Installation of a stretch ceiling requires special preparation for both the workers and a client. Buying materials isn’t everything that needs to be done, the room needs to be prepared beforehand. Correct preparation is very important because it ensures that the ceiling won’t deform or fall.

In case of a room renovation, stretch ceiling must be the last thing that is done in this process. If furniture is in the room it needs to be either taken out or moved at least 30 cm from the walls.

The best thing to do is to move any large objects inside the room or cover them in foil in order to provided the workers comfortable space to install the ceiling so the process can be done quickly and with good quality. Any elements made out of thin plastic (e.g window corners) must be wrapped in masking tape to prevent any deformations from using high temperature air. Walls should be easily accessible and interior decorations like paintings or plants need to be taken out. Any conductive items should be taken out of the room if possible. If you are planning on renovating your floor, it needs to be done before the installation of a stretch ceiling. During the installation it’s best to cover the floor with cardboard.

However, if you are planning something more delicate for your floor such as a carpet it’s better to do it after installing the stretch ceiling. If you want a ceiling in your bathroom, take out as much equipment as possible. Your current ceiling doesn’t require any special preparation, it doesn’t need to be repainted or leveled, however anything that can fall must be removed.

When the installation is completed any electrical projects can be done, but make sure to talk to our workers before buying any electrical installations. To prevent your ceiling from heating up too much bulbs should have no more than 60W.

Preparation for installment isn’t demanding. The most important thing is careful planning. In that case there won’t be any problems regarding the installation.
